Westminster Academy

This project was completed at the end of August 2007, it consists of two concrete framed buildings with glass, decorative terracotta, and larch external cladding housing the main educational Academy and the sports facility situated on Harrow Road in West London.

Atlantic Contracts Ltd were responsible for several joinery packages within the buildings as follows:

• Design, supply and installation of 400 doorsets complete with ironmongery.
• Design, supply and installation of 160 fire rated coloured light diffusing baffles located at the head of the feature atrium in the main Academy building.
• Design, supply and installation of solid European Oak cladding to walls of bridges and treads, risers and landings of stair flights to the Main Academy staircase as well as associated solid oak wall cappings surrounding the atrium and within classrooms.
• Design, supply and installation of various terracotta or laminate faced reception desks and counters in both building and supply and installation of Larch wall cladding.
