West Kent College

West Kent College is situated in Tonbridge in Kent. The project is a major development of the Tonbridge Campus 21 consisting of demolition of the existing 60’s and 70’s buildings to form a state of the art campus which covers all from beauty to construction.

Atlantic Contracts carried out carpentry works and bespoke items of joinery. Our scope of works varied from temporary works to finished reception desks of which included roof works to media arts centre (MAC) structures, German designed timber, eco friendly building which comprised of an external cladding system designed and fitted by ourselves, aluminum frames and cladded with manmade finished board. The fitting of all internal doorsets including door frames and ironmongery, complete with data card readers for controlled access. Internal joinery comprised of reception desks, internal west red cedar cladding, bespoke items of joinery to bar and refectory areas including hair and beauty classrooms. Bringing together manmade materials with natural materials other items in our package comprised of FFE, mirrors, latest DDA regulations works, wooden flooring, external and internal seating timber slated, electric roller shutters to bars and refectory counters.
