T5 Heathrow Hilton
Located just over a mile from Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5 Building, the 350 Bedroom Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 is set within 13 acres of landscaped grounds. The hotel can accommodate up to 1170 events guests in 926 square metres of conference space, designed for lavish gala evenings or global conferences.
John Sisk appointed Atlantic Contracts to undertake the joinery to all bedrooms and corridors. This involved the supply and fix of black American walnut bedroom entrance doors and bathroom doors with full ironmongery, walnut frames, architraves and skirting, MDF coving to ceilings, MDF curtain pelmet, fix only televisions to bedroom units, timber grounds for plasterer, permanent wall protection to restaurant corridors, mirrors, grab rails and splashbacks in bathrooms, concrete staircase to entrance foyer, cedar cladding to existing bridges and shower doors to fitness suite.
In addition to the joinery works Atlantic Contracts carried out a large amount of temporary works i.e. hoarding and protection along with health and safety works such as temporary doors and ply infills to open holes.
The contract was completed on time to a high quality finish.
