Refurbishment Works:
Project scope of works involved extensive refurbishment works to the casement windows in the Granary building and box sash windows in the Eastern Granary office.

We had to send all the casement windows off-site for chemical dipping to remove the layers of paint. They were returned to site where we chopped out any defective timber and re-instated with an agreed timber species in line with Heritage requirements. All original glass was removed and replaced with a Slimlite double glazed unit. The windows were then painted.

The box sash windows were chemically stripped of all paint. All defective timber was removed and re-instated as above. Again Slimlite units were fitted and the windows were painted.

New Works:
We supplied and fitted a Pitch Pine veneer paneled plenum wall system to levels 1 to 5.
We supplied and fitted a Pitch Pine FCU casing to the perimeter of the floors level 1 to 5 with a veneered top.
In the centre of the floor is a light well formed from steel and glass by others – we installed a Eternit rain screen system to this area level 1 to 5.
We installed a Pitch Pine paneled system to the light well floor plate with a Cromadex painted metal top with linear grills.
On level 5 we installed birch faced ply panels to the roof between the trusses with a class 0 finish.
On the ground floor we installed birch faced ply with a class 0 finish between the joists which were filled with insulation.
In all buildings we installed all skirting/architrave/door sets and ironmongery.
