CIPD Wimbledon

This project was a newly formed concrete framed building with a full fronted glass design which is situated along Wimbledon Broadway.

Atlantic Contracts Ltd were responsible for two joinery packages within the building.

The first joinery package consisted of European Oak veneered door sets and architraves. The second joinery package was the complete fit out which consisted of European Oak flooring and handrail, Beech flooring, kitchen areas, coffee points, curved bench seating, library storage units, Credenza display cabinet and mirror paneling. The European Oak door sets are a fully laquered finish veneer and the doors are fitted with polished stainless steel ironmongery.

The handrail detail is a particularly prominent feature within the building due to it being elliptical in shape and also curved. It is fitted on each level to a curved concrete up stand where the radius becomes bigger as you travel up the building. Also on each level there is a steel foot bridge which links up one side of the building to the other and this is where our Oak flooring detail is displayed.
